Funeral Festival is a community celebration of Death, Dying, Caring and Grieving.

Why a community celebration of death?

I was inspired to organize Funera following a talk by Dr. Libby Sallnow at the 4th International Research Seminar EAPC Reference Group on Public Health and Palliative Care. Dr. Sallnow discussed the the 10 principles of a realistic utopia of the 2022 Lancet Commission report on the value of death: bringing death back into life.
